I'm FINALLY back to blogging.
After 3 long and tiring days of F1, it's finally over!! Kinda miss it though. Miss working with so many friend/classmates/coursemates and people.... Miss secretly sneaking in food to our rest area and eat with other people.... Miss having so much fun & laughter yet tiring moments with all of them. But 3 days are sufficient though!! Will be more than willing to work next year if I've the chance to. Once in a while is fun leh!!! If it's like continuous days, I might have died lol.
It was quite slack because we had to report to Hilton hotel at 10am. Then we collect our clothes and started changing, making our hair as we are required to tie a bun), make-up etc. Until 11am plus, we then board the bus and head to the F1 area. So we basically had an hour of free time (which means $10 earned). Then we reached the area, we went to report to our respective suites and start arranging all the settings on the table. Then soon it's 12pm, we had our lunch for half an hour or so. Then go back again, chit-chat, walk around, rest at our rest area, prepare for tea time. 3-4pm, guests started strolling in and people in-charge of the table will serve them while others will mingle around... Will always sneak in to the rest area oftenly during this period of time. Soon tea time is over, we had to turnover for dinner. More guests started strolling in after 6pm. And we had to just serve them etc till 11pm. Was quite a tiring 5 hours STANDING with freaking pain covered flats. So had to rest a while before continuing... TORTURE!!! 2nd day was the most tiring day. I've no idea why. 3rd day was the most busy day as it was the final day for F1 and all the big shot guests will be coming. I swear there's really A LOT of guests. Even PM Lee came over. All the tables are filled with guests. Busy but fun.
Everyday we get to eat all the leftovers for dinner hahaha. Might sound disgusting but most of them was DAMN nice. We can eat all we want after dinner lol. Especially 3rd day, I get to eat Alaska king crab. O_O It was awesomeeeee. The meat is so fresh and juicy omg now I want some. I ate like over 10 plus of the legs. More than enough. Accompanied with many other yummy food. *drips saliva*
So in conclusion, I had quite a lot of fun and new experience working in F1 although it's tiring and 10 hours plus of standing with crazy painful covered flats. And we only had 4 hours of sleep and we had to wake up and prepare again!! It was crazy and tiring but $10 per hour is worth it. =D
Sorry for this wordy post. Just wanna keep this blog alive. I will blog about my cruise trip part 3 and other miscellaneous stuffs soon ok!! Still have straight 2 days of work after F1 (very slack 4 hours though) and then 8am - 10pm Isetan private sales on Thursday. Hope I can survive.
Update again!! I really love all those who read this post word-by-word. Thank you, and goodnight.
