HONG KONG Day 2

(Read Hong Kong Day 1 HERE)

Next day, we woke up at as early as 6.30am to prepare! I'm a slowww poke at preparing because I needa make up (which takes about 30-45mins) and think of what to wear and pair with every single time. Had breakfast at around 7.45am!

Breakfast is considered not bad for a 4-star hotel. I love their pancakes and congee and hashbrown!

Had a half-day tour that day so we boarded a 40-seater bus with about 10 other people and off we go!

Went through a underwater tunnel to get to the other side of Hong Kong!

 Ahhh the wind our hairrrr

The photographer took a picture of us and printed our within a few hours!
Even printed on to a plate. O_O

Of course, they cost some money.

Totally no resemblance between us.

The tallest building in Hong Kong

Haha don't mind my fat swollen face and the tourist pose

And we spotted their 'ding ding' car (direct translate from 丁丁车)!

The track that the 'ding ding' car travel on. The cars travel by electricity and it is extremely cheap if you wanna sit on it! No matter where you are going or how many stops you are taking, the fare will always be the same. It's around 50 cents? You can take through the whole journey with will take you around 2 hours! 2 hours for 50 cents!!! Haha.

And up we go to the hill~
 Buildings with irregular heights

You can see all the tall buildings in Hong Kong from here!

But somehow the trees are blocking quite a bit of view.

Yay love this shot! If only the buildings behind are a little clearer that would be perfect.

Next stop!

Our tour guide explaining how we should actually pray which is the correct way.

 Expensive houses...

Imagining everyday waking up to..

This view. Not that WOW but still pretty amazing.

Spot the roller coaster far far away?? That's Ocean Park! :)

After that, we went down hill, passing by all the rich houses which some are owned by Andy Lau, Stanley Ho (known as "The King of Gambling", which he owned more then 40+ casinos in Macua and is Macau's wealthiest person and amongst the wealthiest in Asia).

And take a look at Stanley Ho's family:
(source: wikipedia)

Yellow colour boxes are his wives. Yes, he had/have 4 wives. And below the wives are their each respective children/grandchildren. Look and count how many children and grandchildren he had/have!!! It's insane?? His oldest child is born in 1947 (66 years old), and youngest child is born in 1999 (14 years old). That's a freaking 52 years old gap difference ok??? SIAO. And he's 92 years old now.
Imagine if you're 92 years old and have a 14 years old CHILD. That child can be like great-grandchildren already?!?! That's not all, some grandchildren is even older than the children LOL. Complicated sia, how to address each other like that?

Next, we went to sit sampan!! I love all old traditional stuffs. :*)

 Cool aunty

If I'm not wrong, this is the first Jumbo Seafood Restaurant and the only Jumbo Floating Restaurant!
And, it is own by Stanley Ho.

The above is the new restaurant, the below one is the old one, which is already closed down.
They are just located side by side!

Hahaha with the family and the aunty :D

Ahhh the dark clouds!!!
After that, it rained quite a while and the rain kept on splashing in! We were all hit by the rain but it was kinda fun experiencing it though hehe. With Dad taking umbrella and covering the rain for us. :')

Next, we went to a wholesale jewellery shop!

Sis and I bought ourselves an identical bracelet each! :)

After going various places for the half day tour, it's finally time for the tour guide to drop us at our last stop! The tour guide (his name is Ah Meng haha) is a really nice guy and helped us a lot in many ways. He even helped us to buy the internet SIM card because we're not sure which one is better and how to communicate with the people. He also told us a lot of interesting stories and also told us a lot of additional information that are useful for us! He did way more than a tour guide should do so we are really thankful for that. Thank you, Ah Meng! :D

Last stop! A rather famous place in Hong Kong for tourists. :)

Panorama shot. It will be much more beautiful if this is captured at night.

And all the various hand prints by famous people in Hong Kong:
Dad with Bruce Lee

That day was a day after Leslie Cheung's birthday on the 12th of September.

After walking the whole stretch of Avenue Of Stars, we went to walk around Nathan Road, which is similar to Singapore's Orchard Road!

Settled our lunch at a random cafe.

As usual, take a look at the big stalk of vegetables.. Haha.

It was not bad and cheap!!

After the meal, we straight away head to Mongkok and shop. We are all super excited because we heard it's a shopping heaven there! It was indeed true to what people have said. All of us (even my parents) shopped quite a bit, not only clothings, but food and souvenirs too. Love that place and how we hope our hotel are located near Mongkok area so we can put our shopping bags at our hotel and go back to the streets and shop again. At the night, we are all very tired and have zero energy left.

We shopped so much here!!

My parents bought so much "lao po bing" from this stall. I think around 6 x 30 boxes of it? Insane! They buy, went back after dinner to buy again realizing it's not enough. And worst still, we couldn't find the place we walked from Mongkok MTR to Yau Ma Tei MTR wtf!!! Damn tiring lugging all the big bags small bags walking around finding the damn shop. We took like an hour to find the shop? FML. Then the last day, they went back to buy even more.

Super adorable puppies!!! *squeals*

Dinner for 4 at a random shop
Because we weren't hungry so we just ate a bit to save our tummies for dessert later hehe.

And we had a good laugh. Look at the freaking menu with numerous spelling errors!!! IT'S HILARIOUS.
Sis and I kept on laughing non-stop like we scared the owner will come and beat us hahaha.

Can't see??

Nah, zoom in for you:
"BBQ pork wish steamed rice noodle rolls"
"Bean sprout eried noodle"
"Bean sprout pried vice noodle"

Hope you had a good laugh.
I tell you, spelling errors for different words never mind. Some is like same word as above also can spell differently or some is above spell correctly below spell wrongly LOL!!! Hahaha damn stupid and funny.

Next, we had dessert at the famous Hui Lau Shan! :)

Looks so much better with filter right? Haha. #iloveafterlightfilter
The mango is delicious & fresh!! Love it love it love it. Bought mango puddings back for bf's family as well!

Some street performance

Haha super duper cute dog!!

Aww pomeranians are extremely cute

Very obediently, just sitting down.

Super cute thumbdrives!!

After a whole long day walking + shopping, we're extremely TIRED we just quickly flagged a cab and went back to hotel. The cabs in Hong Kong are extremely cheap!! The reason why it's so cheap is because the meter jump super slow. From Mongkok to our hotel (Kowloon), the meter only jumped twice. The starting fare is $20hkd, and each time the meter jump is additional $2hkd. $24hdk is equivalent to $3.50sgd. SO CHEAP RIGHT???!?! Omg if only Singapore's cabs are these cheap I would have take it every time!! I think when the cabs meter in Hong Kong jump once, Singapore's cabs meter already jump like 4-5 times. It is THAT  slow. Which I absolutely love it. There's one time we took the cab and the meter doesn't even jump at all?!?! LOL $20hkd = $3sgd. Even lesser than Singapore's flag down-fare?

Buys for that day! We shopped at Agryle Centre and Ladies' Market. :)

Stay tuned for Day 3 at Hong Kong - Ocean Park!!! ^^

(P/S: FUCK THIS SHIT. Was uploading pictures for this blog post and half way through Blogger said not enough space in Picasa (I DON'T EVEN FUCKING KNOW WHY NEED TO HAVE SPACE THERE. I JUST UPLOAD IN BLOGGER AND THEY CREATED SO MANY ALBUMS FOR ME WHICH IDEK ABOUT IT.) so I have to delete pictures from there. Like wtf? Means every time not enough memory space need to delete? So I deleted some pictures from Picasa and went to back to view my blog and the pictures didn't get deleted from my blog posts, so I'm like "thank god, it's okay then I can delete all". Then after I deleted all, I just upload more pictures for this blog post and continue blogging. Next day (which is today), I browse through my archives and previous blog posts and all the fucking pictures all turned into exclamation marks which means 'picture not available'!!!! I AM SO FUCKING ANGRY WITH BLOGGER NOW. I DELETED EVERY FUCKING PICTURES PREVIOUSLY WHICH MEANS ALL THE PREVIOUS BLOG POSTS' PICTURES ARE ALL. FUCKING. GONE. FML!!!! In the first place why do I even need space/memory to upload pictures to my blog post. Help me anyhow create an album, now claim there's no space. If I don't delete all the previous pictures means I can't directly upload to Blogger anymore? What stupid fucking logic is this? Now I don't even know what to do. All my previous blog posts are so fucking ugly now with all the fucking exclamation marks. Reuploading every goddamn pictures will have to take probably one whole fucking day. UGH I'M SO DONE WITH BLOGGER. Fuck this shit.)
