HONG KONG Day 4 (LAST)

As much as we didn't want this day to come, the last 3 days flew pass really quickly, and it is our last day in Hong Kong. :-( *SOBS

Great weather that day, as usual. The last day was the only day we got to see this view because the last  three days we had been waking up early even before the sun rises. Speaking of weather, when we went to Hong Kong it didn't rain much, only some drizzle here & there. So happy and thankful.  

Took tooooo little films throughout the whole trip!! :/ Carried the polaroid everywhere I go (super heavy) but always forgotten about it and only snap pictures using my camera... Bought 2 packets and only use like 6?! 

Ate our breakfast in the hotel and went back our room to pack our luggage. Then we checked out, left our luggage at the hotel and went out to explore! Took the MTR to Causeway Bay but there's nothing much there and we just walked around randomly and went off after about 20 minutes. 

Spotted the 电车 along Causeway Bay street! Mum even said she wants to sit on them to try it out. One stop also shiok haha.

Next, we took the MTR to Jordan ~

Bought a mango tart for about $3 to try and it was yummy! The mango is super fresh and I love the bottom crust mmmm.

Our motive to head to Jordan is.....

Try out the highly raved Australia Dairy Co.!!!

Queued for about 15 minutes and finally we got ourselves a table!

My verdict?
Food is cheap and good. However, service is bad. Staff are super rude, they just take your plate away without asking whether you still want it or not, rush us to eat quickly (because there's always a long queue outside), and when you're done eating, they will straight away ask you to go to the counter for bill even when you didn't call for it. You eat and you go, no time for chit-chatting.

After the meal, we went back to Mongkok for MORE shopping because sis and I haven't spend like half of the money we exchanged..

After about 3-4 hours of shopping at just Mongkok alone, we went back to Olympic MTR for our dinner at Olympian City which is the nearest shopping mall from our hotel but didn't had the time to walk around there.

This is actually not what I ordered.. I didn't know when I collected it, took photos of "my food" until when I started eating, Dad says it seems like beef (I don't eat beef) so I went to the counter and ask them if it is beef and they said yes. The cashier heard my order wrongly and ordered the beef set for me. Lol! I don't even know if Dad didn't say anything...

This was what I ordered instead. But the 2nd from the left is beef too LOL. I didn't see the menu properly and didn't know there's beef... Hahaha in the end I just ate the other 3, which makes me super full already!!

And the famous 老婆饼 my parents bought... They bought like minimum 4 big packets of them!

Went back to the hotel and rest till the bus came and fetch us to the airport~ Our legs are aching SO badly we were dying to go back to the hotel and rest even though we have like an hour or more till the bus comes. Mum kept on wanting to shop and buy egg tarts etc so she dragged Dad along with her haha. Poor Dad.

Bye Hong Kong! Hoping to come back next time again. :-)

Hardcore us wanted to enjoy our whole full 4 days at Hong Kong so we booked the midnight flight back on our 5th day wahahaha. Waited at the airport for an hour close to two, soooo bored.

After about 4 hours flight, and 30mins taxi ride, finally back home!! It was so hard to sleep on the plane, I couldn't imagine taking the 10-12 hours flight to the super far countries.. But still, after tossing and turning, I still manage to sleep on the plane throughout the whole flight and even miss the plane food haha!

LOOK at the amount of bags we have to hand carry to plane because we couldn't afford it to get thrown around. Insane!! (And take note of all the 老婆饼 we bought. TOO MANY.)

All the stuffs I bought at Hong Kong~ Not much. And I hope there's more place for us to shop (or maybe I just didn't know about em). But I love that they are all super cheap!!!

Gosh while drafting this post, makes me miss Hong Kong so much!!! Really so damn much. I wish I have the ability and capability to fly over there right now. Hong Kong has been really fun and enjoyable, with all the weird + unique culture and also the places and food there. Next family trip, I hope to visit Korea. :D It's really been a long long while since we go overseas and enjoy as a family... Cherish those moments so much.
