3 days in 1 post

(UGH was supposed to publish this before I fly to Hong Kong but totally forgotten about it zz)
Just some random pics from my trusty iPhone 5 a few days/weeks back~

1. Movie date

On our way to Jurong Point to catch Elysium.

Fooling around while eating our fav durians at Durian Mpire. Their price is getting higher and higher yet their food standard is dropping. So disappointing! One durian coil cost $5??!?!!

Elysium was great! Kinda love the story line. :) And it makes me wonder if we will be like these in the future...

2. Astons + Kbox

Met my dear girls for kbox! Astons first before that~

Always love Astons - cheap, tasty, fast service.

Kinda love these two pics taken from the very clear S4 front camera.

Kbox after that but no pics because we are all busy singing and fooling around~ We sang at Bugis+ Ksuites and it is no doubt still my favourite place to sing with friends. It is cheap - 3 hours for $10 nett. It is insane! Where will you get such good deal? The place is awesome - it is really spacious and I love the design there. Each rooms have different designs. Last time when I went with my classmates, we were brought to a kinda big room which can probably fit about 8 people. All rooms have double tv and 2 wireless microphones.
This time, we sang in a room that have a sofa bed!!! Not really a sofa bed but I don't know what other term to describe it. It's really damn SHIOK because you can sit down, leaning on the back with your legs stretch out all the way on the sofa bed. They even provide blankets. Makes me wanna sleep instead of sing haha. The whole room is really cozy & clean, definitely worth the $10.

Love Ksuites so much! The 3 hours for $10 nett is a promotion for students only (so remember to bring your student pass!) and I'm not sure when it will end so better go there and sing asap! You will love that place! :)

And a yummy home-cooked dinner by my dearest Mummy to end the day well. :D

3. Magnum Pleasure Store @ Vivo

Ready to head to Vivo City with sis and our boyfriends. Double date! :)

Poulet for lunch. Food was alright.

Our main motive why we go there is because....

TADA!

Have always wanted to visit this Magnum Pleasure Store ever since I heard of it but haven't had the chance and time to. I was so sad when it closed at Clarke Quay (previous location) and I thought it wasn't gonna open anymore!! Luckily it did, and we finally get to try it! :)

My "customized" magnum stick!
A stick like this cost $7. You can choose any 3 toppings, any coat for your magnum and end it with a drizzle on the top! For the coating and drizzling, you can choose any of the 3 chocolate available - normal, dark and white.
Personally, I find that it is kinda difficult to bite onto it because it was really hard with all the toppings on top of it. Bf find it too sweet for his liking so he took like 3-4 bites and left the rest to me already. Not really worth the $7, in my opinion. But to each of its own, so you may like it?

Or you may wanna try other stuffs like....

The chocolate fondue! $26 for this, with 2 sticks of plain magnum + other small bites for you to dip in to the hot chocolate fondue! The chocolate fondue is really hot and boiling with a fire below it.

Anyway if you wanna go and try all these (plus many other yummy-looking food on the menu), better go soon because this magnum store is a pop-up store and they will close down sooner or later! They might shift the store to other locations (previously was Clarke Quay, now Vivo City), they might not. I'm not sure also. You may wanna like their Facebook for more details. It's worth trying!

Hehe good sunlight calls for some self shots~

HAMSTERS

It's been a while since I blogged about my hamsters right? The last time was probably many few months back.. Well a lot things have changed since then. Two of my hamsters, Bubble and Jacky, passed away. Bubble passed away on the 4th of July, while Jacky passed away on the 27th of July.

When Bubble passed away, it was a lot and too overwhelming for us to take in. It's the first hamster that passed away, and sis and I were both very dejected and hurt. What hurts more was that Bubble did not die because of her age, is because her legs were stuck on her wheel, unable to come down from the top, and we didn't notice it maybe until half an hour. When we noticed it, it was already too late and she dropped down from the wheel when we took it out, lying there motionlessly. She is still breathing, but couldn't move. Sis and I tried to hold her up on her legs to aid her to walk, but she couldn't. Her legs seems to give way and she slipped back down, lying motionlessly, still breathing. We were shocked and hurt to see that, and we just weep and weep because we couldn't do much for her. We just kept by her side, beside her cage, seeing her body move up and down, breathing. In the end, after around 30-45 minutes, she started moving, stretching both her legs and hands, and stopped breathing afterwards. We mourned over Bubble's death, and seeing Bubble like this made us feel extremely hurt because we didn't took enough care of her and there's nothing much we can do seeing her like this.

When Jacky passed away, we slowly gotten used to it. It was in the morning when sis first saw Jacky lying down motionlessly on the middle of the cage. She quickly woke me up and we both knew Jacky is going to leave this world soon. So we just placed him on my bed, and kept by his side. Same thing, before he passed away, he stretched both his legs and hands, moved a little, and then stopped breathing.

After Bubble's death, I have sort of gotten used to it. Some things, we just can't prevent - like life and death. There's really nothing much we can do. So the most we can do is to forgive and forget. Cry and reminisce for a little while, then move on. And be strong. So I've become a lot stronger when facing Jacky's death. Till now, I still miss both Bubble and Jacky's presence, and sis and I still talked about them now and then. They will always be part of the 8 hamsters, and all of them will never be forgotten. Thank you for the memories. ♡

*Pardon for the video quality. Filmed with an iPhone 5 and have no idea why is the quality THIS  bad.
[Updated: And I found out that it might be YouTube's problem!! I tried uploading the same videos on Vimeo and the quality is so much better or probably the same as what I'm viewing from my phone. Will upload on Vimeo next time. :-)]

Jacky, still healthy :")
Few months before he passed away, he became really really skinny, one of his eyes were swollen, and one of his legs couldn't walk properly anymore. It was really sad to see him like that. He's living better in another world now. :-)

--

The fat and bubbly Bubble. She was healthy all along, so I felt extremely sad to see her passed away so early because I felt like.. she don't "deserve it"? Hope you're living happily in another world my dear Bubble. :-)

Xiao Jacky eating his favourite bread!

He's always living in his own world and wouldn't like people to disturb him haha too cute.

His tumour :"(((( No idea why he has it, but just hope it won't get any more worse than this.

--

The softest fur of all, Baby!! She's really naughty and fierce in the past, and she even got hospitalized before because she bit herself. :(

But now everything's fine and she's the most healthy hamster now. :) Only her left leg seems to have difficulty walking but it's kinda cute seeing her like that hehe. She also became more tame and obedient now!
Just like her name, a little baby. <3

--

Mimi casually lying down on her wheel. #juzchillin'
She always lies down like this so her fur is a little wet and no idea why it cannot dry up. :( But other than that, she's healthy as well. :)

--

Toby with his minion hahaha.
Really sad to see Toby in this state now - where he have little red dots on his body, his fur is dropping, he's getting skinner and skinner each day. He used to be the healthiest and fittest hamster of all, because he always run and exercise on his wheel and eats a lot! No idea why did he become like this, just hope he don't suffer pain anywhere. :"(

Every single one of them have brought so much joy to my life.
Love all these puffballs to bits.

BACK

HELLO!!!!!!!!!!

Ahhhh feeling so good to be able to type away again like this! It's been 2 MONTHS since I blogged my last post... Not sure why I didn't have the "feeling" to blog anymore. Maybe is because I have nothing to blog anyway and school is taking a toll on me. I don't wanna blog because I have to but rather blog because I want to and have something to share.

Yes, IT'S MY HOLIDAYS NOWWWW!!!
Feeling super duper happy and relieved because I actually managed to survive the past 3 weeks! The last 3 weeks was hell because it's the exam period and I have 6 fucking papers to take. SIX OKAY???? Not even sure how did I survive the last few semesters because every exam we have, we have 6 papers to take. I tell you, it's crazy. Damn crazy. Like how the hell do we even ace pass all 6? And this time, the 6 papers dragged over 3 weeks. Feel like shooting the person who plan the exam schedule. 3 weeks leh??  I almost couldn't survive it through. It was hell. I'm sooooo stressed out and tired and worn out and depressed throughout the whole exam period you can never understand. First time ever in my poly life I felt so tired from exams. Prolly because the whole exam period is too long. Might have been better if it only lasted for 2 weeks..

But well well well, everything's fine now. Let's enjoy the holidays! :-)

Will be working some days during the holidays, while the rest of the days would be for enjoying/ nua-ing hehehe. And I can't wait for my HK trip in 2 weeks timeeee!!!!!!

Loving the holidays so far. :-)

Happy weekends!
xx
