Swensens

On the 22nd of March, went to Plaza Singapura for Swensens to celebrate Noel's birthday on the 22nd! Haha yup it's on the actual day =D

It was a very last-minute decision that we'd go out to celebrate sis birthday. Well, actually we have no designated location to eat as a celebration of her birthday so we just stick to Swensens which they have all kinds of variety be it main course(pasta, pizza, baked rice, western etc) or ice-cream!

Sis and I had a "tradition" in celebrating our birthday is that what we eat has to have ice-cream in it. It started 2 years back when Sis and I was still studying in Teck Whye Sec. Back then, I was sec 3 while Noel was sec 4. We walked home from school after our lessons ended during her birthday, and we passed by a ice-cream cart. So I suggested that since it's her birthday, she'll buy for me ice-cream(which is only $1) and on my birthday I'll treat her ice-cream in return. So gradually, it became a "tradition" that we'll treat each other ice-cream on our birthday. So guess what I bought on my birthday(mine was later than Noel's) 2 years back(the year which my sis bought me the $1 ice-cream)?

A tub of ice-cream. Omg I felt so stupid eating that on my birthday!! Am I suppose to get fat on my birthday or what?

Then the following year, Noel treated me to ice-cream buffet at Swensens(which we ate super little) and then I also treated her to Swensens on my birthday, but not ice-cream buffet. Then this year, she treated me to Swensens too! And it's super cheap(I'll tell you why).

Hmmm, so what should I treat her for my birthday? Well, it's still 7 months(or less than that) away but I've to start thinking and searching now because I don't wanna go back to Swensens again!! Any suggestions guys???

Ok back to topiccccc.

-----------------------------------------------

We reached Plaza Sing around 1.10pm and we went straight to eat.

Anyway does birthday people have good luck? Noel was damn lucky!! There is actually an ongoing promotion that is from 11am to 2pm. Any main course you ordered, you will get any sides/sundae/drinks for free!!

How awesome is that!!

Omg feel so unfair because it doesn't happens on my birthday :-/ Ok maybe it will. On my birthday this year on whichever place I visit to!! *praying hard*

And that promotion actually save her a lot!!

I then know the cutlery are given according to what we ordered.

Chicken Victoria. Mine!

Potatoes
The sauce are cream base!!

Oh and not forgetting the look-yummy veges!!

My review:
-Meat was a little difficult to swallow. Well, I don't blame them because I should have knew it as it is chicken breast. Unlike chicken thigh or wings which have yummy meat right?
-Sauce was good!! It will be good if they'd given more :(
-Veges was wayyyyy toooo harddd!
-Potato was nice with a little chili powder added. But when you taste more, it doesn't seems as nice anymore :/

Let me quote the description for this dish from their website:
Tenderly grilled cook chicken breast meat topped with homemade Victoria sauce,
served with daily vegetables and U.S. potatoes

So how do you think?

Noel's crayfish pasta

Looks yummy!

Without flash. Does it look not so appealing anymore? Lol

My review:
-Pasta was awesome!
-Crayfish meat is a lot!! Super yummy and fresh.
-Other ingredients was great too.

The description of this dish:
Crayfish, crabsticks and fish fillet with spaghetti tossed in tangy tomato sauce.

Sweet and simple.

So I mention there will be free sundae/sides/drinks right?
So we ordered U.S fries as one of our free sides!

I super love their U.S fries!!
I extremely love it when it's hot! I mean like, who doesn't?
And their tartar sauce!! Yumz yumz

Noel enjoying the yummy fries =D

Lol useless pic

After being extremely full and bloated from our meal, we ordered our last free item(which I think you would have guess it what type is it too)!

Chocolate Crunch!!!

For your information, it's a sundae. LOL(for some stupid ones who still dk what is it opps)

Many yumz!! I love the crunchy crunchy chocolate thingy :p

Both of us doesn't like whipped cream..

So we requested for a soup bowl and scooped out the fattening whipped cream!! Lol aunty.jpeg

And the mess we created. guilty.jpeg

Guess how much does this meal cost? Not even $40!!
Damn.. Lucky Noel :(
Or damn lucky Noel? Lol whatever.

After the meal, we shop around Plaza Sing and home!

Just some things I bought from Daiso:

8 lovely colours rubber bands for only freaking $2!!

But you have to tie it yourself. But hey, it's still worth it right?!?!
Oh and the super good(is that the right word?) scissors i bought from Daiso too!!

Cute wrapping paper =D

As mentioned, it was a last-minute decision so I don't bother to make up.
Not even bother to put my contact lens lol.
Aiya who cares anyway.

At night, we sang birthday song for Noel and also cut cake! Mommy bought the cake from Polar :)

I dislike cake with creams!! Make me don't feel like eating anymore.
Luckily this cake was still acceptable.

Cake with colourful candles!!

And it's time to sing the birthday song!

Lol happy Noel

Noel making a wish..

And blow the candles!!
