SORRY for not blogging for more than a week!! I've been really caught up with studies lately and worst of all, my laptop spoilt on last Friday. Not sure what's wrong but it just hangs on the desktop whenever I start up my laptop... I planned to blog during the weekends but couldn't do so. My laptop is only repaired on Monday when I brought my laptop to school and my classmate Henry helped me with it. And I only have time to blog now!! I miss blogging too~~ I've so so much things to blog about! You guys just have to keep on reading. ;)
A quick blog post on how to make Oreo Strawberry Cheesecake in super easy steps! No baking oven required for this! I blogged about a similar blog post before so you can read it here.
---
These are all the ingredients/utensils you will need!
4-5 table spoons of icing sugar, 1 block of butter (melt it using microwave), strawberry jam, 1 block of cream cheese (spreadable form is also ok) and 36 oreos (which means 3 x 12 packets).
All the quantity are a rough gauge. You may use less/more depending on how big you want to make! Just subtract/add accordingly will do. :)
First we will have to make the base by crushing the oreos! Put all in a plastic bag or zip lock bag and crush it~
Mixed the crushed oreos with melted butter to make it stick together.
Press it down hardly using a spoon.
Next, we will make the top part which is strawberry cheese! Add in the cream cheese...
Icing sugar...
And strawberry jam! Add a few scoops of strawberry jam first and stir it. You can taste it after that, if you feel like there's not enough flavour, then add more jam!
Just make sure your strawberry cheese arrives to this colour. :) Smells something like strawberry yoghurt!
Spread and lay it out evenly on the top~
This is a last minute step where we decided to add in some crushed biscuits on the top to decorate it and make it more crunchy crunchy ~ wahahaha.
TADA~~ nice or not!! Looks very yummy to me already!
After everything, wrap it up with aluminium foil and place it in the freezer for 2-3 hours and you're ready to eat! If you want the top to be completely harden, you will have to wait for 6 hours! You may not be able to wait that long I think.... haha.
The end result??
YOU BE THE JUDGE!!
Looks nice or not you tell me?!!??! I'd give 10/10 for presentation hahahaha. Taste wise, is great also la!! 8.5/10 for it. Just find that the oreo taste is not that much because the strawberry cheese taste is a bit too strong so it covered the oreo taste. Maybe you can try my previous recipe because it tasted better I think! With normal biscuit base but strawberry bits inside the cheese and on top of the cake. YUMMYYYY.
Doing this post make me feel like doing every thing again haha. It's okay I'm gonna eat grab some ice-cream from my freezer and eat now. Have fun making!! ^.^
